The Best of the 'Burgh
Only our opinion but we definitely recommend these places - check them out and let us know what you think!
Best Pub Grub
The Last Drop: Traditional hearty food in a beautiful setting.
Best International Restaurant
Shabeen: South African Cuisine; steak the size of your head.
Top Alternative Bar
Can you guess it? It's our fav - 52 Canoes Tiki Den. One Mojito please!
Best Independent Clothes Shop
Pie in the Sky on Cockburn Street is definitely worth a visit.
Best Charity Shop
Shelter in Tollcross is one to pick up clothes for cheap, and it looks like a vintage shop!
Best View Of The City
Because it is free and accessible for all; Calton Hill.
Best Breakfast
The Coffee Mill: tasty and cheap served by the friendliest man in Edinburgh.
Number One Place For Veggies
The Baked Potato Shop: The small potato is big enough for two, with a generous helping of homemade filling.
Best For Your Bank Balance
If you like a homemade curry, get yourself to The Mosque Kitchen. £3 for a huge veggie curry and rice.
Best Seafood Restaurant
Nip down to Leith and visit Ship on the Shore.
Top Takeaway
Che Takeaway - hands down, best cheesey chips you will find in Edinburgh - we're talking two layers of cheese!
Loveliest Live Music
For us, it's the Jazz Bar. Especially as the money you pay on the door goes to the band.
Cheapest Night Out
The Hive... some love it, some hate it but if drinks are £1 then you can't complain.
Best Night Out
It all depends what you like, but our favourite night has been at The Bongo Club.
